    Product Description

Note: This product requires a laminating pouch to create a fully finished card. For this product, please consider laminating pouch F85-52DWP.

Get a card that beats PVC in every way: JetPak™ ID cards, available only from IDenticard!

Our JetPak cards look and feel like a regular ID card. They are made of a synthetic paper material that is stronger and less susceptible to fading than standard PVC cards.

This JetPak insert will let you create a dual-core, data collection-sized (2.313” x 3.25”) card. The insert doesn’t have a slot, allowing you to use this insert as a horizontal or vertical ID card, whichever way you see fit.

What is the difference between single-core and dual-core?

You'll see our JetPaks described as "single-core" and "dual-core." These "cores" don't refer to sides, but rather to the thickness of the card itself.

    • Single-core JetPak cards are made of a single layer of synthetic paper material. When combined with a 7/3 laminating pouch, the finished card will be 30 mils thick. We recommend these cards for customers that only want factory printing on one side of the card, with variable data printed on the other.
    • Dual-core JetPak cards are made of two layers of synthetic paper material. When combined with a 5/2 laminating pouch, the finished card will be 34 mils thick. The template for these cards can be configured to allow you to print both sides of the card in a single pass, saving time.

A more durable alternative to PVC ID cards

The key to a JetPak card is the synthetic paper material. This material is able to be printed on using a standard inkjet printer. PVC cards, on the other hand, require a more expensive, dedicated PVC ID card printer for customization, increasing your initial costs.

Dual-core JetPak cards ship with one full card per sheet, allowing both the front and back of the card to be printed in one pass. Each box contains 100 sheets, enough to print 100 dual-core JetPak cards.

Because they use an inkjet printer, JetPak cards are able to customized with vibrant, sharp colors. We recommend using an Epson® printer due to their DURABrite® inks, which we’ve found consistently produce great results.

A JetPak card is a two-part solution: the JetPak insert (which is what this product is) and a laminating pouch. The insert is printed with an inkjet printer, popped out of the pre-cut sheet, placed in a laminating pouch and put through a laminating machine for a fast, easy solution.

JetPak: The most secure ID card available

Along with being more durable and longer-lasting than PVC cards, we’re also able to offer a number of security features that PVC cards simply can’t match.

For that reason, JetPak has become the card of choice for several government agencies and law enforcement agencies. There’s simply no card more secure.

Features include text so small that it can’t be duplicated by most printers, invisible text or imagery that only appears under certain light and more that we don’t want to get into here, for security reasons.

Let us create custom ID cards for you

Interested in custom JetPak cards? We’re able to pre-print JetPak cards for you, using your own design, imagery and text. We’ll ship you the printed cards, leaving only the variable data, like a photo or employee name, to be printed on-site. Please if you’re interested in custom JetPak cards.
