This printer ribbon for the Fargo HDP8500 features a heat seal panel, making it ideal for cards with internal technology. Cards containing internal technology often have slight bumps or ridges, which can cause problems for retransfer printers like the HDP8500. The heat seal panel causes the resin to adhere more strongly to the card, eliminating concerns about poor print quality.
