Clear Laminate Ribbon (SMART 50 series)

By nature, ID cards and badges are frequently being scanned, swiped, taken in and out of pockets or tapped against card readers. Such frequent use, combined with exposure to sunlight and the elements, can lead to degradation of the card and the frequent purchase of replacements.

However, instead of replacing cards, consider using laminated cards. This laminate roll works with your SMART 50 series printer to coat PVC ID cards in a thin layer of laminate. Laminated cards provide better protection against bends, scratches, fading and other forms of wear-and-tear associated with daily use. Laminated cards will last longer than standard ID cards, providing cost savings for you.

Each roll of laminate features 250 imprints. A SMART 50 series printer with a lamination module is required for use.
