Please note: JetPak cards require a laminating pouch to create a fully finished ID card. For this JetPak, we recommend pouch F87-73HSDWP.
JetPaK™ ID cards: above and beyond PVC
You deserve a better ID card! You’ve used PVC cards for years and haven’t looked for an alternative because “hey, they work.”
Sure, they might work, but you could be using a more simple, more durable credential like a JetPak ID card, exclusively from IDenticard™.
What makes JetPak cards better than PVC? It’s all in the material.
JetPak cards are made of a synthetic paper material that is microporous in nature. This microporous design allows the JetPak to absorb ink, letting the card be customized using a standard inkjet printer.
JetPak cards ship in sheets similar to a sheet of office paper. Each sheet contains two single-core JetPak cards. Ordering a quantity of 100 cards (the minimum order quantity) will get you 50 sheets.
That’s right: the same printer you have sitting in your office can be used to create detailed, high-quality credentials!
This JetPak insert will create a single-core, data collection-size (3.25” x 2.313”) card with a horizontal slot, meaning it’s designed to be used for horizontal ID cards.
What is the difference between single-core and dual-core?
You'll see our JetPaks described as "single-core" and "dual-core." These "cores" don't refer to sides, but rather to the thickness of the card itself.
- Single-core JetPak cards are made of a single layer of synthetic paper material. When combined with a 7/3 laminating pouch, the finished card will be 30 mils thick. We recommend these cards for customers that only want factory printing on one side of the card, with variable data printed on the other.
- Dual-core JetPak cards are made of two layers of synthetic paper material. When combined with a 5/2 laminating pouch, the finished card will be 34 mils thick. The template for these cards can be configured to allow you to print both sides of the card in a single pass, saving time.
Two steps to a long-lasting card
Creating a JetPak card is a two-step process that results in a durable, fully finished card.
First, print your card design on the JetPak insert. Next, pop the insert out of the pre-cut sheet and put it in a laminating pouch. Put that pouch through a lamination machine, and you’re done!
Your finished JetPak card will be more durable, more resistant to fading and longer-lasting than a standard PVC card.
JetPak: a truly secure ID card
One of the best parts of JetPak is how many security options you have when it comes to protecting your card from counterfeiting.
We offer nearly a dozen different security measures, from text that is only visible under certain kinds of light to print so small that it can barely be seen by the naked eye.
Government and law enforcement agencies around the country who have chosen JetPak agree: it’s a great solution for a professional, secure credential.
