Please note: JetPak cards require a laminating pouch to create a fully finished ID card. For this JetPak, we recommend laminating pouch F85-52HSDWP.
You’ve been using plain PVC cards for years. They’re brittle, crack easily and always seem to fade. You deserve better!
Our JetPak™ ID cards go above and beyond PVC in every way! Available only from IDenticard™, JetPak cards are more durable, longer-lasting and more resistant to fading than PVC cards.
This JetPak insert will create a dual-core, data collection-sized (2.313” x 3.25”) ID card. This insert has a horizontal slot, meaning it is meant for use as a horizontal ID card.
Dual-core JetPak cards ship with one full card per sheet, allowing both the front and back of the card to be printed in one pass. Each box contains 100 sheets, enough to print 100 dual-sided JetPak cards.
What is the difference between single-core and dual-core?
You'll see our JetPaks described as "single-core" and "dual-core." These "cores" don't refer to sides, but rather to the thickness of the card itself.
- Single-core JetPak cards are made of a single layer of synthetic paper material. When combined with a 7/3 laminating pouch, the finished card will be 30 mils thick. We recommend these cards for customers that only want factory printing on one side of the card, with variable data printed on the other.
- Dual-core JetPak cards are made of two layers of synthetic paper material. When combined with a 5/2 laminating pouch, the finished card will be 34 mils thick. The template for these cards can be configured to allow you to print both sides of the card in a single pass, saving time.
JetPak cards: It’s all about the material
The key to our JetPak cards is the material the cards are made of. Each JetPak insert is made of a durable synthetic paper material. This material is microporous, which allows it to absorb ink. This absorption is key to one of the main features of a JetPak card: it can be customized using a standard inkjet printer!
Yes, that’s right: you can use that printer on your desk to create bright, colorful ID cards. No more investing in a pricey PVC printer!
For our JetPak cards, we’ve found that Epson® printers produce the best results, mainly due to their DURABrite® inks, which offer vivid colors and sharp detail.
JetPak cards are also able to print both sides of a card in a single pass, saving you time. Once your JetPak card is printed, simply pop it out of the pre-cut sheet, put it in the appropriate laminating pouch and laminate. There’s your fully finished card!
JetPak: The most secure ID card available
We’re able to load our JetPak cards with a number of security features. We’re confident that there’s no ID card more secure that a custom JetPak. We offer text so small that it can barely be seen by the naked eye, printing that only appears under certain light and more.
There are actually nearly a dozen individual security features on JetPak cards, but we won’t reveal all of them for security reasons.
Just know that there’s a reason JetPak is the ID card of choice for several government and law enforcement agencies around the country.
We can create custom ID cards for you!
We’re able to pre-print JetPak inserts and ship them to you for finishing! We can print your graphics, logo, text or other designs on the inserts for you, leaving just the variable data, like an employee name or photo, to be printed at your site. This will save you ink and time, and is a great solution for custom ID card needs of all kinds. Please contact us if you’re interested in custom JetPak cards.
